foxfirejesusIf you're an Iowan, and you're not an asshole, go here http://eqfed.org/campaign/leg_marriage and e-mail your legislators, and then after you've done that, follow the link to e-mail the governor, and encourage them all to NOT ammend the Iowa constitution to ban same-sex marriage.
The constitution is intended to PROTECT the rights of citizens, NOT to take them away. It shouldn't be polluted by bigotry. Tell them this or some version of it. It matters. The opposition is making their voice heard. We need more voices on the side of equality.
Seriously - this will take 2 minutes if you type really slow. You have time. This is important. Do it. Do it now.
